I am still trying to work out why some can read it and some cannot, but in the meantime, I have now uploaded the .htm version to http:///www.yorkfamilyhistory.org.uk which should be readable in all browsers (I hope, but please let me know if you are not able to read it). Thanks for your patience, and I hope you find this file useful. Can anyone explain to me, please, why the pdf file worked for some but not all?
