Grenville,Thanks for you efforts.Maybe I am looking in the wrong places.So far ,because Charles James Todd was born near Whitby that is where i have concentrated. I have tried to find Hartlepool via Genuki Org,and cannot find it under N yorks. Is it in another State? Does anyone have an address for Durham Light Infantry?They may have his records . Is there a South Pier other than Whitby or Hartlepool?. Stuart Weymouth.
