Hi Heather, How's things down in Oakville? I have the parents of Mary ROBINSON as Stephen and Elizabeth. This is from the Wintringham PR's. Have no idea where Stephen was from. Also have a sibling for Mary.....Henry born 1825. I took a look through my 1861 census but only younger Robinsons born in Wintringham were there. Stephen and Elizabeth seem to have disappeared. Unfortureately I only have the disc for Wintringham. It is interesting though, the relationship with the two families in Perth Co. Makes you wonder whether they knew each other before. Were your Robinsons agricultural labourers. Mine are and at times they seem to go quite far afield. Thirsk isn't that far away from Wintringham. If I find anything out I'll let you know. How's the rest of your research coming? I've been working a lot on my Mum's side lately for a change.
