They are indexed, but are, I believe, recorded under the name of the recipient of the property rather than the vendor. There are also land tax records and estate maps in the archive; it would be worth enquiring at Northallerton to check whether there is a copy of the tithe map and apportionment among these documents, which would list the owners of land field by field and give the state of cultivation.
