William's father was Joseph Robinson and he was baptized at Bagby. Joseph's father was William ROBINSON and mother was Jane ESHELBY. Mary was not one of his siblings according to baptismal records, but wonder if there was a connection, given the history William Robinson had with Thomas Davison in Perth County, Ontario. Hi Gary, Spotted the THEXTON names, have you any 'lost' in the Burton in Lonsdale area? There are two families on the 1851 Bentham Census. Noticed one head born in Kirkby Lonsdale, others Holme house, Cockerham & Preston Patrick. Any mild excitement there? (:-) - let me know if you want details.
