    3. Hi Listers, I'm back to searching in earnest for ancestors after a long beautiful summer. Still no progress in my endless search for John WILSON b. 1850 in Snape son of George WILSON a shoemaker and Elizabeth nee HAW. He is on the 1851 Census of Well, Masham & Snape aged 1 living with his parents at grandmother, Dorothy HAW's residence. He was a witness at my Ggrandmother, Elizabeth Ann 's marriage to William DIXON in Monkwearmouth in 1883 . Would love to find out if/or who he married. After the death of Elizabeth , George m. Mary ? b. Snape and I found George with his new family on the 1881 census at The Grange, Grewelthorpe, York. I also found Caroline WILSON , William WILSON and George WILSON working on farms in the area but cannot find when and where they married. On the 1901 census George is still at Grewelthorpe and I found a possibility for William aged 44 in Kirby Fleetham a gen. farm laborer. The only George I found was in Newbottle , Durham aged 38 as a Bankesman at a coal pit. Have just sent for a possible marriage cert. for Caroline from GRO. I've made progress with George sen.'s parents- William , a carpenter b. Snape who moved to the Boroughbridge area and may have been married 3x ..... but no real clues on my Ggrandmother's siblings. I'd appreciate any help. Sincerely, Dorothy on Vancouver Island All E-mails checked by AVG anti virus programme
