    3. There are no LINSLEYs in Malton by the 1861 census. There is a Roger LINSLEY in Old Malton, widower, aged 76, agricultural laborer, birthplace Malton, Yks. Old Malton and (New)Malton are separate parishes, next to each other. Do you have the birth certificate for Francis LINSLEY which would include an address. Malton was a registration District and they could have lived in a hamlet nearby.
