Thanks Sandra for the info re. the inscriptions. What intrigues me is not only the copper plates at Gillamoor but the Hebrew? writing which is a quotation from ISAIAH XL.6.7.8. Has anyone any ideas? Why would it not be written in English? Many thanks. Jo
