I am looking for "Joseph Holmes" birth unknown (he was my 2 Great Grandfather) "Benjamin Holmes" son, born 1851 "Cundale" (Cundall)York, (as on 1881 census for Co Durham "Benjamin Holmes" and "Elizabeth" and family) I have the marriage for "Benjamin" and "Elizabeth" 1871 "Shincliffe",Old Durham, England. "Joseph Holmes" (father) was a labourer at the time of their marriage. I cannot find "Joseph" or family, on 1871 Census for Co Durham. I don't have any information for siblings. My Grandfather was "William James Holmes" Born 1879 Co Durham, son of "Benjamin".
