Hi, I'm new to the list and would like some help. I'm looking for information on a Hannah RUSSELL who married a John WYLLIE from Scotland and immigrated to the U.S. Hannah was raised in Stokesley according to family information. I have located a Hannah on the IGI who was christened on 30 Jul 1816. Parents were James RUSSELL and Mary. I believe this is the correct Hannah. Family information claims that Hannah's father was a Captain lost at Botany Bay. I'm assuming that he was Navy, but have no proof. IGI does not indicate what church or parish the christening took place. Can someone lead me in the right direction for obtaining more information on this family?
