Hello, My family were DAYKINS of Arkengarthdale in the 19th century. I would be pleased to have contact with anyone connected to them. Those with an interest in Arkengarthdale may be interested to know that I have produced three works in connection with local history of the parish - Arkengarthdale in 1891 (a portrait of the dale in that period), a book of the Memorial Inscriptions of St Mary's Arkengarthdale, and a transcript of the 1891 census of the parish.
