I have finally tracked down a birth certificate for my Great Grandfather who was always known as FRANCIS LINSLEY, but was registered as FRANK LINSLEY. He was born on 18 December 1849 at Ropery Road, Parish of Old Malton, the son of FRANCIS LINSLEY and SARAH ANN LINSLEY. Has anyone got access to the 1851 Census? I am hoping that they are still at the same address, and it might tell me if there are any other children. I do not know if Francis and Sarah Linsley were from Malton.
