    3. Hi Ailsa, There is a FOGGIN family in my research, but I cannot find a link with your Annie FOGGIN. Most of my FOGGIN's come from the East Harlsey area. I looked at the 1881 census and found; At Greythorn Flat, Borrowby, nr Northallerton. Arthur GIBSON aged 28 born Kirby Sigston farmer 16 acres. Annie GIBSON (his wife) ages 24 born Northallerton, John W (their son) aged 5 born Osmotherley. You said they were married in 1880, so their son was born some years before the marriage or the census has a mistake and should have 5 months, the only other explanation is that John is Arthur's son from a previous marriage. The surname MEYNELL also is in my research which I note you are researching. Again cannot find a link Most of my family are from the Brompton/Northallerton area from 1900 going back to the 1700's. George - born abt 1858. Anderson - July 1860 - married Ann Elizabeth CLAPHAM 1886. Eliza - 1862 - married 1886 either John William CHAPMAN or David WOOD. John - Jan 1865. William - born abt 1868. Robert - born abt 1873. This is all I have at present and not all these details have been confirmed. If any of these are familiar, then please get in touch.
