I have a cousin who's address in the early 1900's was left on a small piece of paper as Lizzy Mrs. Cooke Cod and Lobster Inn, Staithe, Nr Whitby Date unknown but as their mother is described as Mrs Thackwray, in Leeds and no mention of their Father probably between 1905 and 1915 Curiously this is them in 1901 ( Mary is Mary Elizabeth) Mary Cooke 30 Winksley Yorkshire Yorkshire Leeds Isaac Cooke 28 Portmulgrave Yorkshire Yorkshire Leeds Police Constable John Cooke 20 Portmulgrave Yorkshire Yorkshire Leeds Fish Fruit Salesman Elsie Cooke 1 Leeds Yorkshire Yorkshire Leeds Is there any mention of this public house in your book and over how many "years"? Are they mentioned as being there, as publicans?
