Firstly, Mary Ann SHARVELL died in Wolverhampton on 1st January 1901 aged 79. Her obituary was apparently published in the North Eastern Daily Gazette - which I understand is a Middlesborough paper. Is any KS going to somewhere that keeps old copies and can look that obituary up for me. Her husband appears to have been John SHARVELL, who was 74, born Mouske, York, Secretary to a Building Society, in the 1901 census. Cannot trace them at all on the 1881 census, but believe they were in Wolverhampton. And where is Mouske? Sounds like Eskimo territory. I know it is cold in North Yorkshire. I have never ventured north of Sheffield myself. Many thanks John Cullwick near Silverstone in rural Northants ==== ENG-NORTH-YORKS Mailing List ==== ----------> ALL CAPS or UPPER CASE Letters Permissible Use <---------- When typing a surname? YES!
