My whole CATTALL/CATTELL/CATTLE family lived Salton and Brawby and Normanby villages from 1500 to 1750s and then moved to Sheriff Hutton near York. I note that WILLIAM BEAN Married ANN CATTLE in Sheriff Hutton 19th jan 1794 If you find WILLIAM BEAN is linked to either Salton, Normanby, or Kirkby Misperton parishes please let me know. and yes William Bean and Ann had children in Sheriff Hutton. Thanks for this re Beans-----at this stage I do not have a William born in Normanby. I do wonder though if the Beans in Salton etc are related. My Robert Bean came to Normanby to be a schoolteacher but do not know where he was born.
