    3. While trawling through the Genuki pages on Yorkshire, I was interested to see that several trade directories had been published over the years and I wondered if there was a source somewhere which would tell me what was available. It occurred to me that these publications and anything similar, could be a source of trying to trace the movements of some people between census years. I know of Bulmer's in 1890 and Kelly's in 1879 & 1905. Were there any others? I am particularly interested in the years 1861-1881 and the early 20th century. Is anyone able to tell me what might be available and how I would go about accessing the information, please? Any help is much appreciated. Regards Ailsa Petrie -- Hamilton New Zealand

    3. Ailsa, You could try the Archive CD Book site of Rod Neep, he takes old books, many of them trade directories, and puts them onto CD. http://www.archivecdbooks.org/ Regards Jenny DeAngelis.
