    3. Hi Peter, Hi Janice, I am pretty sure I also have a connection with your Francis HARRISON born 1822/3 in Fylingdales. The connection is through Peter Morley HARRISON (the elder brother of your Francis William HARRISON). I had unsubscribed for a while (and just noticed your posting whilst browsing the list) According to Peter Morley HARRISON's birth certificate, his parents were a Francis HARRISON and Elizabeth Charlotte HARRISON nee MORLEY. However I have not to date been able to track a marriage down for this pair. I have a sneaky feeling that they may have married after their first two children were born (Mary Morley HARRISON b. abt 1848 and Peter Morley HARRISON b. 13 Mar 1850) and your Francis William (b. abt 1852). But I need to get back to look this up in the GRO indexes to confirm this. There other children were Jane Elizabeth, George, John, Thomas, Robert & Morley (although there may be more). I hadn't been able to place Francis HARRISON (senior) death, but believe he was living at Taylorson's Yard in 1891 with his youngest son Morley HARRISON. I am pretty sure he had died before 1901 (there is a possible match on FreeBMD for a Francis William HARRISON who died Q4 1895 aged 71 - although there may well be other matches.) I would be very happy to share all of the information I have gathered to date on this line. I have not been able to get back any further for definite, but have found a possible match for Francis in the 1841 Census in Whitby who is aged "20" (aged between 20 & 24). In which case his parents are probably Luke (at least it looks like Luke) who was a tailor and Elizabeth. There is also a William Harrison aged "15 (so aged between 15-19) in the same household who is an apprentice tailor. I couldn't make out Francis' occupation. Look forward to hearing from you! Kind regards Karen Harrison
