Hello List, I am searching to see if Jane MOON b. 1751 Fewston daughter of John MOON could be the same Jane MOON that married in Danby in 1770 to John COLLIER. I know where Danby is located but I can't find Fewston on any map of Yorkshire. How near Danby is Fewston? Does anyone have any MOON family in their family tree? Margaret Maryland

Regarding the Danby - Fewston distance, it depends upon which Danby you refer to.If its the North Yorkshire Moors one, found up near the Castleton - Glaisdale area then you would be looking at some 64 mls on today's roads.
