Hello Laurel, There are a few SAYERS in the MI's for Sowerby, they are as follows: No:359 "In loving memory of Henry Sayer of Sowerby who d. 1 March 1917 aged 45 yrs. Also of Emma beloved wife of the above who d. 27 Sep 1928 aged 65 yrs." Nos:435-436 "In memory of Ann Sayer of this place who d. 6 Feb 1799 aged ?0yrs" "Flat stone. Ann Lambert dau of George and Jane Sayer of Liverpool and cousin of Jane Martin of Skipton on Swale d. 20 Jun 1850 aged 60." Put this in as it may be connected to the above: 437 "Flat stone. Jane Martin dau of Luke and Margaret Martin d 15 Feb 1841 aged 62." Hope this is of some help.
