Hi, I have just joined the North Yorks web site( in fact is only the Web Site I have joined) When looking through the earlier years I noticed a lot of chat re The Jacksons in 2003. I believe I am related to a lot of them & if anybody still uses the site I would like to hear from them. My mother was a Jackson & lived in Leeds a large city in West Yorks. Her father was Frederick Jackson who was born1878 in Pickering( next town to Kirkbymoorside He had 10 Brothers & Sisters. His father was JOHN JACKSON born 1816 in KMS he married Hannah Holmes in1845 His mother was Hannah Jackson b 1799 Her mother was William Jackson 1769 he married Ann Graystock in 1779 I have been to Northallerton Record Office a couple of time & have found out a great deal of information about the family in Bransdale & Cochan on Rudland Rigg were they were coal miners.
