Hi Laurence The Leeds Library has all the census from 1841 to 1901. I checked most of them in the KIrkbymoorside area & wrote down nearly all the Jacksons . I have also wrote in my notebook some of the parish or bishops transcripts at the record office in Northallerton. I checked them to look for George Jackson & found one b 1818 ( I didn`t write the month) in KMS he was the son of Thomas Jackson & Dorothy Whitesyke nr Fadmoor He was a farmer. 1851census Rudland Farndale Left Quarter Tom.
