Hi Peter, what name are you looking for? Sometimes just another pair of eyes helps. Ancestry have Naval ships, ships at see and abroad on 1861. All institutions are listed as far as I know. Some prison and infirmary records have only initials recorded. The Royal navy is on for 1871 on ancestry too.
