Hi Jennie My Jane Bowes was born 1800 Hutton Cranwick Yorkshire. Bowes seems to be a very common name in Yorkshire. Jane married Edward Henderson at the parish of Stanwick St John. They resided in Caldwell. I believe Jane died in 1834. Edward married Mary Ward in Nov 1835 also at Stanwick St. John. One of thier children Jonathan born 1822 was my GGGrandfather. Hope that tells my Bowes connection.
