Hi, Don`t know if anybody interested in the Jacksons of Farndale know that there is a Jackson`s Rd.(path). It goes from the disused coal mines next to the road going up Rosedale Head to the Church Houses in Farndale. In the 1841 census a family of coal mining Jackson`s still lived in the Church Houses. It shows that many Jackson`s most have walked that way to work. If you want to check it Ordnance Survey (OS) no OL26 both sides.
