I am trying to trace my great grand uncle, Robert Payne, and his descendants once more. Like many of this branch of my family, Robert moved all over England and Wales working on various construction sites. Robert married a widow Harriet LAMBSDEN (nee PAYNE) and the son from her first marriage(?), Arthur Thomas, lived with them adopting the surname PAYNE which all his descendants have also adopted Has anyone got this family in their tree (details below) and/or can SKS give me some more information 1. He was a Dock Foreman on 11 Jan 1900. He lived at 28 Queen Street, in North Ormesby, NRY, ENG, on 11 Jan 1900. He and Harriet Payne and Annie Zillah Payne, Harriet Payne, and Arthur Thomas Payne lived at 28 Queen Street, in Ormesby, NRY, ENG, on 31 Mar 1901. He was a foreman labourer on 31 Mar 1901 at Ormesby, NRY, ENG. He became a widower at age 67 upon the death of his wife Harriet Payne on 24 Feb 1924 (Carcinoma of the breast and secondary deposits in the lung). He was a retired publican on 24 Feb 1924.
