Following research I am doing on the Plews Brewery of Bedale Aiskew and Leeming Bar I am trying to find out when the earliest trade directories are available from and where they may be available. I am trying to determine whether Plews were trading from Aiskew or Bedale from 1795 to 1840. Would appreciate any pointers.
