Hi Howard, The main church and parish records are for Bilsdale St Hilda, though there is a newer church - Bilsdale St John as well. Depending on the time frame you are looking at. It is also worth noting that since Bilsdale was originally a Chapelry of Helmsley sometimes, I find with my families Helmsley All Saints was used. Furthermore those folks living in Bilsdale Westside quite often used Hawnby All Saints as well. What are you looking for? - I have some Hugill's of Bisldale & Hawnby - though they are proving quite elusive at the moment. A good starting point for information about Bilsdale is www.genuki.org.uk Cheers Karen ----- Original Message ----- From: "Howard Egglestone" <[email protected]> > Researching my wife's family, three branches of which had holdings in > Bilsdale.
