Hello sorry for the delay in reply! I really couldnt say if there was a connection or not, from the census i sent to you the date of Elizabeth being born in 1854 matches up nicely to the information you sent me. I just havnt been down that family line yet, so i really couldnt tell if those are her parents, but now im interested to find out if they are! I have a marriage for Elizabeth GRAHAM and Samuel WHITLING on Jun 1876 at Bedale. To confuse things, i think Samuel may have had a brother Robert, as he also shows up on the census as being born in Bedale area and also married to an Elizabeth but living in Newbottle, Durham. So, perhaps a connection, but something i will just have to keep working at.
