Greetings On 4 October 1806, John HARLAND and Rebecca SWAN were married in St Leonard church, New Malton, Yorkshire. They had at least six children, William 1807, Richard 1809, Ann 1810, John 1813, James 1814, and Richard Swan 1816. John(the elder) seems to have died between 1816 and 1819 for Rebecca married Edward Patteson in 1819. (All this is from IGI) Ann married Anthony Frank in 1831(IGI) and John married Mary Robinson in 1842 (marriage certificate). Does any one have information on this family, their ancestors, siblings, or descendants?. Hello Richard - I have HARLANDs but they are in Kirby Knowle, near Thirsk. The only suggestion I can make is for you to trawl through the New Malton Parish Records (probably at your nearest LDS centre - which you can probably order through them). You may be able to glean whether John was otp (of this parish) and the same for Rebecca - perhaps you will strike gold. Regards.
