Hi all I recently found a settlement certificate for Terrington in the North Riding and am passing on the following names in case they match anyone's interests. In the document the village of Dalby cum Skewsby accepted financial responsibility for William NOWLSON and family should they be unable to support themselves in Terrington. Date March 20th 1763 Persons certified William KNOWLSON, Ann his wife and Mary their daughter 'half a year old.'
