We are trying to trace four "missing" children ( of 13 in total) of a Scottish couple, William & Margaret Hamilton, who seemed to have moved up and down the east coast quite a bit. I will need to do some more checking but this John now looks a likely candidate, though "our" William was usually listed as a skinner not a labourer.
