Hello, I hope someone will be able to help me with my search for Thomas Myers born about 1835 in Masham. I have him in Pudsey near Leeds on the 1881 census, but would love to know of his records on the 1841 census and onwards so I can confirm his parentage and whereabouts. Thanks, Mark _________________________________________________________________ Got a favourite clothes shop, bar or restaurant? Share your local knowledge http://www.backofmyhand.com

Now you have the 1841 census, if you get any earlier Myers, then there are some in the Gargrave parish records. The only one in my tree is Jane Myers:- "Francis WINN (102) married Jane MYERS (353), daughter of John MYERS (119) and (--?--) MYERS-M (38), on 5 Jul 1763 at Gargrave, Yorkshire, England." I did find some of her siblings though. It could be that your relations moved from Gargrave to Masham. Let me know if you want any Myers looked up in the parish records. JG
