I have not been able to locate Folecote on any modern map. I believe it to have been in North Yorkshire somewhere between Aldborough and West Tanfield, probably in the Claro wapentake. Does anyone recognize the name? Paddy Buckley

Is there any chance that it could be Fencote which is in Kirby Fleetham, outside your supposed area I know but just in case they were not where you expected them to be!
