    3. Hi Zoe, Just seen your post re Castle Bolton. I have genealogical interests in this and the surrounding area, it may be worth noting that Castle Bolton could refer to the village itself no the venerable ruins. I have some info on the Castle & its history somewhere, plus some digipics if no one else has come to your rescue? regards Barrie Sharples
