Hello Terry Sorry I cant help you with research as I live in NZ. However, I have Dent in my family tree. My gt grandfather's brother James Jordison Appleton married Maria Dent in `1881/2 Stockton. I am sorry I dont have any other info for you except that they had three children that I know of. Arthur Dent who drowned in the Stockton on Tees river aged about 7 or 8yrs. Frank, born `1883 and Dent who was born in 1900. I did have contact many years ago with someone down south of England who was also related. Apparently Maria was one of about 9 children. Maybe we are relatred somewhere along the line. I wish you lkuck with your searching. Regards Jan Phillips
