    3. Hello list, I am trying to find any information about Ada Carr, who married Tom Darley in Malton in the Sept Qtr of 1909, and their daughter Faith Darley, who was born on the 9th of August 1910. Tom Darley was my GGrandfather and Ada Carr was his 2nd wife. Unfortunately Tom passed away in 1910 before the birth of Faith and it was only through a friend of mine checking the Methodist Registers for the Malton circuit that the birth of Faith came to light and the realisation that Tom had remarried. I have a suspicion that Ada was born in 1880 in Barkston, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Carr. My only reasoning behind this is that both Tom Darley and Thomas Carr were both plate layers on the railway in the 1881 census. If anybody can shed any light on this problem I would be delighted to hear from you. Les Darley (Perth Australia)

    3. You can order their marriage certificate online and it is posted at no extra cost to you in Australia than to anyone in the UK. I have used the service several times and I usually receive it within 2 weeks here in France so it shouldn't be a lot more than that to you.
