I have a hard to read Parish Register image of the marriage of Joseph DIXON and Mary ALLISON Sept. 23, 1823 in Sunderland. He is "of the Parish of Romaldkirk, County of York, ? of Chester". The ? looks like "Doun" or "Droun". I am sure neither of those is correct. Any suggestions? Also if anyone is researching that couple and their 10 children I would like to hear. Thank you. Dave.
