    3. Good day. I am researching my 3x greatgrandfather Michael Bulmer, a stone mason, who I believe was born about 1785-1790. In the 1851 census living in Holbeck, Leeds, he and his wife Elizabeth are listed; she as born in Egglescliff, Cty Durham and he as born in Tunshall, Yorkshire. Problem is, there is no "Tunshall" that I can find in Yorkshire. After discussing this with several people online, it seems most likely that it is a typo for Tunstall. Since his wife Elizabeth Hartburn is from Egglescliff it is most likely that it is the Tunstall that is part of Great Ayton parish. I also know there are other Bulmer's in this parish, and is quite close to the area where the Bulmer familiies orginated before the Norman Conquest. I have looked at the Cleveland FHS site with no luck, looked at any Great Ayton parish records online on GENUKI, again no luck. I would dearly love to find out more about my ties to this fascinating family, and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Any information on Hartburn's from Egglescliff would be lovely also. Thanks! Valerie in PA, USA
