Hi Phyllis I have HALTON ancestry. My lot were in Askrigg, North Yorkshire for a while. Emanuel had children, Samuel bn 1803; Timothy 1805; Emanuel 1807; Richard 1810; Isabella 1813 baptised in Askrigg. Timothy married Elizabeth and moved to Richmond Yks. Their daughter Margaret born about 1828 Richmond, married William ROBINSON and I am descended from them. I have traced the other families descendants. The name is not that common so it is possible that there is a connection between our lines. If you would like to contact me direct my email is rain@ihug.co.nz Larraine ----- Original Message ----- From: "Phyllis Zirbel" <pez@bigpond.com> To: <ENG-NORTH-YORKS@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, February 29, 2008 11:10 AM Subject: [ENG-NORTH-YORKS] Halton Family >I would like to make contact with anyone researching the name HALTON > My 8th Generation G/Father Robert Halton & son David came to Australia as > convicts in 1791.
