    1. [N'Yorks] BARBER
    2. I'm new to this list. My ancestor was Dr. Luke Barber, born abt 1615 at "Wickham Hall" in N. Riding. I have been unable to locate a "Wickham" reference in Yorkshire, but it may now be known as Wykeham (nrear Scarborough). If anyone can verify this location as the ancestral Barber home, I would appreciate hearing from you. Marvin Kennebeck

    1. [N'Yorks] Reposting Interests
    2. Hello, I unsubscribed for a while. My main interests in North Yorks were SEERY from Ainderby Steeple. I was in contact with someone about the Records from Brough Hall, Caterick. I have had computer problems and lost the e-mail address of the person. If you were in touch with me about the whereabouts of the Catholic Chapel records from Brough Hall would you kindly get in touch. Any other local history information about Brough Hall would be welcome. My GGGrandfather John Seery, son of William Seery born Ireland and Elizabeth Wells from Patrick Brompton was Baptised there in 1828. There was also another John Seery born that year and baptised at Aiskew he was John Seery son of John. I have been unable to trace this John Seery. He is possibly related to my ancestor. sincerely, Jacqui White
