    3. Hi Michelle, I had this Robert down as a possibility but am not really sure. I have very little to go on - just his name and occupation on his daughter Hannah's marriage cert. He certainly could be. Hannah named her first son William. 2. Jackson family Kirkby moorside area. Not to forget John Jackson R.A. 1778-1831, who married a second wife Matilda Ward. John was a famous artist who by marring into the Ward family became part of the very famous Williams school and family of artists. see SBN 902028 41 3 The Williams family of painters by Jan Reynolds published 1975. Jacksons work is in Lastingham Church and Leeds art gallery to name a few. William and Robert

    2. Hello, With the information you have on this family , why don't you just go to your local LDS History Center. They have almost all UK Church records on film, some going back to the 1600s. these include Baptisms, Marriages and Deaths, they also have all UK censuses, Wills, War Records, and many other records. The Centers are free of charge and open to everyone. The one I go to in Mesa, Arizona helped me to trace my Father's County Durham, England family back to 1675. The Centers are all over the world. Regards, Pam, a Canadian War-bride in Arizona.

    1. [N'Yorks] COOPER & SEYMOUR North Deighton, York and Ripon - mid 1800s
    2. Steve Seymour
    3. In particular I'm looking for the following at the moment: Ann COOPER Born North Deighton, York, England 1830/40s. 1861 census lookup for Ann would be helpful (most likely in Ripon or North Deighton in 1861). Ann married William SEYMOUR (in Ripon) in 1869 and gave birth to their first son, Joseph, 6 months later in Edinburgh (Joseph was rasied by his grandfather in West Keal, Lincs). They then returned to Ripon were Rose and Harriet were born. In 1877 William repeated the trick with his second wife Mary Elizabeth Robinson (second marriage for her as well) producing a second son Sydnet Herbert. Mary Elizabeth was also born in North Deighton (no idea of her original maiden name - possibly another Cooper!?!?) William's younger sister married a John Cooper also from North Deighton - presumably then met as a result of William's marriage to Ann. Extra info John Cooper x. 16 Jun 1806, Kirk Deighton Parents: Joseph and Ellen (or Helen?) Married: Mary Children: Sarah x. 14 Dec 1830 John x. 31 Dec 1832 m.
