Having looked at the 1861 census I'm not sure it is Holley. It looks more like Wolley or perhaps even Hedley! I'm sure finding out exactly what the name is will help to shed light on the Elizabeths but it's really difficult to read the handwriting. Jess
Strange how the power of suggestion works. When I saw the same entry yesterday I could have sworn it was Holley because that is how it was sent to me about a year ago and how I have been looking for it. Now, Jess, comes along and says it looks like something entirely different and I go back and look at the copy I have and sure enough...it doesn't look like Holley any more.
