Hi Everyone, Am interested especially interested in the STOTT family of Birkenhead. I have them in the 1901 census living at 21 Greenfield Street, Birkenhead but would love earlier information. The father was William age 40 and mother Annie age 36 both born in Birkenhead. Children were Mary Elizabeth, Alice (my grandmother born 1887), Annie, Jane, William, Walter, Thomas, Ada Margaret and Charles. I know that Mary Elizabeth married James HAYNES and that their son Jimmy was killed in 1940 on the SS Lancastria at Dunkirk. I think that the son William STOTT may be buried in the CWGC grave at Flaybrick but am still trying to verify that. Also interested in the WEEDALL family originally from Witton cum Twambrooks then Poulton cum Seacombe and Birkenhead. HOLLAND family in Davies Street (1871) and then Sussex Street (1881 to 1901), Birkenhead (originally from Nottingham) and involved in watch and clock making. I know that in the 1894 Kelly's Directory that James Allcock HOLLAND as well as being listed as a watch maker was also shown a Secretary of the Birkenhead Workmens Tontine Society at Queens Hall. Any information at all would be very gratefully received. Cheers, Alan Siddorn
