If anyone has access to old Directories for late 1800s-early 1900s could you check for Fairfield Hotel in Rock Ferry or Birkenhead to see if a W.J. Mitchell was the licensee there please. I've tried internet but it doesn't show such place now only a map has it (hotel) at cnr Old Chester Rd. & Fairfield Rd. Many thanks if you can , if not thanks for reading this.
