Thank you Andrew and Wendy, I have found out today that my g-uncle was actually killed in January 1942 by a soldier. ( I previously had been told 1941). So I guess I am still looking for court records and any newspaper articles, but now in the month of January 1942. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my posting.
