Is this the one? Thomas McVey born 1835 in Hollyhead, Wales living in Toxteth Park with younger sister Emma and a lodger. He is a ships carpenter, married but no sign of wife. There's a couple of others in Lancashire but born there also. Happy to look again if you let me know. Jess
