Thank you for your advice. That's the problem you need loads of emigrants out of UK to search Ancestry.com. I don't have loads who emigrated either. I found first cousins marrying in Manhattan and from there was able to find them in the Census. From there they went to Wisconsin, where there was a Tannery Industry. I wonder if there is not someone who has created a website for trades and industries for the immigrants into US. Those of us who are living in England and Wales find a similar issue of expense with Scotland's People. It needs for a list of names to be searched before purchasing credits. Those of the uninitiated are blind to how quickly credits are spent.
