I wonder about this Cynthia because there is someone who regularly sends mail to this list with names in the subject line, and Rootsweb bounce it because there are too many names in the subject line. Also, if I hadn't sent out a request for people to send in their names, we wouldn't have had any mail for you to open! I am not being awkward here, but I am just delighted with the response we have had. Marged I have 37 more emails to open with subject line simply "My Names." It would be a courtesy if folks put their surnames in subject line. That would make it easier on all of us. Many thanks for your consideration. Cynthia in California, USA

    3. Suggestions made on another list for "Roll Call Protocol": * Keep the message short. Detail can be sent later to interested parties. * Break your names down on separate messages (4 at a time) Rootsweb won't reject. * Print surnames in CAPITALS so they stand out in the message. I agree with Cynthia. Generic titles are so annoying and often deleted.
