Greetings from Canada I've subscribed to this list for a few years and again have to thank Marged for the help she gave me in the beginning and for generating my interests. I still read all the postings but I'm not active with genealogy these days due to hitting too many brick walls. My interests are posted again just in case. McVey (Liverpool, Bromborough, Hoylake, Hollyhead) nb: My grandmother Sarah Kirby married James McVey in Liverpool and they promptly changed the spelling to McVeigh, later they changed it back to McVey after the first two siblings, my aunts Martha & Amy were christened McVeigh the next five siblings were christened McVey.
